Delete Your WePickIt Account

This page explains how to delete your account in the WePickIt app (published by Siber Apps) and what happens to your data.

How to Delete Your Account

From within the app (fastest):

1. Open WePickIt and sign in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Deletion takes effect immediately.

By email (if you can no longer access the app): send a request to support@wepickit.app from the email address on your account. We verify the request belongs to the account owner and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What Is Deleted

• Your account, including your email address and display name.
• All sessions you created, including their items and swipes.
• Your swipes in sessions someone else created. The session and its shared match results remain with the person who created it.
• Your sign-in credentials and devices; if you used Sign in with Apple, we also revoke the sign-in grant with Apple.
• Your analytics profile and its events in PostHog.

What Is Kept, and for How Long

• Server and diagnostic logs (such as IP addresses and request timestamps, and error reports) are retained for up to 90 days for security and troubleshooting, then deleted automatically.
• Subscription and payment records are held by Apple and Google, not by us; deleting your WePickIt account does not cancel an active subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Shared match results in a session someone else created stay with that session as part of its combined results. These records do not contain any personal identifier of yours.
• Completed or cancelled sessions (and their items, swipes, and matches) are kept up to 2 years, then automatically deleted.
• If you signed in with Apple or Google, a short-lived, one-way scrambled code (a salted hash of your sign-in identifier, which we cannot reverse) plus the number of sessions you started that day is kept for up to 48 hours. It prevents deleting and immediately recreating an account to bypass free-tier daily limits, and is not linked to any other record. It deletes itself automatically.
• We may retain minimal records where required by law.
